What is the best supplement to get for Medicare?

There's no single best Medicare Supplement plan, but Plan G is the most popular choice for people new to Medicare in 2026. Plan G covers nearly everything Original Medicare leaves behind, including your Part A deductible of $1,736, hospital costs, and the 20% coinsurance Medicare doesn't pay. The only thing you pay out of pocket first is the Part B deductible of $283. After that, most covered services cost you nothing. Plan N is a solid lower-premium alternative if you don't mind small copays at the doctor. The right plan really depends on your budget, health, and how often you see providers.
