Medicare Broker for Northeast Ohio
If you live in Northeast Ohio — Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, or anywhere from Lorain to the Pennsylvania line — a Medicare broker compares Medicare Supplement (Medigap) and Medicare Advantage plans from multiple carriers at no cost to you, using the actual rates carriers file with Ohio. Ohio's Medigap market is the most extreme we track: 32 carriers, with the widest price gap in our five-state dataset for identical benefits.
I'm Anthony Orner, an independent Medicare broker licensed in Ohio and 34 other states (NPN 20586791). We serve all of Northeast Ohio by phone and video, and this site publishes the same filed-rate data I use on client calls — so you can check my math before we ever speak.

What Medigap costs in Northeast Ohio right now
These are Ohio filed rates for a 65-year-old non-smoking woman, verified against carrier rate filings as of 2026-07-12 — pulled at a Cleveland ZIP (44101), in the heart of Northeast Ohio. Carriers price by rating area, so Akron, Canton, or Youngstown ZIPs can differ somewhat — but the spread between carriers shows up everywhere.
| Plan | Lowest filed rate | Highest filed rate | Carriers quoting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plan G | $118/mo | $343/mo | 32 |
| Plan N | $102/mo | $277/mo | 31 |
Identical benefits, very different prices — nobody in Northeast Ohio should enroll off a single carrier's quote. Full dataset in the Ohio Medigap Rate Index.
The Cleveland Clinic / University Hospitals question
For Medigap, hospital systems don't matter: Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, Summa Health in Akron, Aultman in Canton, and Mercy Health in Youngstown all accept Original Medicare, so a Medigap plan works at every one of them — no networks, no referrals, no annual network changes. For Medicare Advantage, networks matter a great deal in Northeast Ohio, where plans are often anchored to one system. If your cardiologist is at the Clinic and your primary care is with UH, confirming both are in-network for the exact plan and year is essential — or choosing Medigap makes the question disappear.
We check your doctors and hospitals against the actual plan documents before you enroll. That's the part of this job a one-carrier sales line can't do.
