The insurer pays the broker; your premium is the same with or without us.
What Minnesotans Ask Next
Call 855-559-1700 or leave your number in the checker. A licensed agent goes over your route, checks the dates on your Medicare card and your plan letter, and we can help you apply on the same call. You pay the insurer directly; the price is the same with or without us.
Your Medicare card, which shows your Part A and Part B start dates. If your Medicare Advantage plan is ending, the letter that says so; Minnesota asks for proof of the end date with the application. And a list of your prescriptions and doctors, so we can match a drug plan.
If your Advantage plan ends December 31, 2026, apply before then and the Medicare Supplement starts the next day, so there is no gap. Your plan-ending right lasts until March 4, 2027, but waiting past December 31, 2026 leaves days without coverage. An application in the October 15 to December 7 window starts January 1.
A Medicare Supplement does not cover outpatient prescriptions, so you also need a stand-alone Part D drug plan. Go 63 days in a row or more without creditable drug coverage after your first chance to enroll, and Medicare adds a late penalty to your Part D premium for as long as you have it. We can help you pick a Part D plan in the same call.
A Medicare Supplement works with any doctor or hospital in the country that accepts Medicare. There is no network and no referrals. The plans we quote are not Select plans, which are the only Medicare Supplements that use a network.
Yes, when you buy through a guaranteed right. The insurer cannot turn you down, charge you more for your health, or exclude a pre-existing condition (Minn. Stat. 62A.31 subd. 1h and 1u). Applying with health questions outside those rights, the insurer can decline.
Three bills. The Part B premium ($202.90 a month in 2026), the Medicare Supplement (Basic with the Part A deductible and excess riders is $355.94 a month in the plans we quote, for coverage starting January 1, 2027, plus any window surcharge), and your Part D plan, which varies by plan.
You move to Original Medicare on January 1 with no drug plan and no supplement, and you pay Medicare's deductibles and 20% yourself. Your right to a Medicare Supplement without health questions runs until March 4, 2027; after that, most people answer health questions.
Not if it is ending; it stops on its own. If your plan continues and you want to leave it, joining a stand-alone Part D plan between October 15 and December 7 moves you back to Original Medicare on January 1. We time the Medicare Supplement and the drug plan so they start together.
