Humana Full Access Giveback Ends in Florida: Medigap Options

Humana Full Access Giveback H5216-393 and H7617-111 end December 31, 2026. CMS counted 203,147 members in the two plans in September 2026, across 56 Florida counties, and its 2027 crosswalk shows no Humana plan taking them over. If your letter is a non-renewal notice, federal law lets you buy a Medicare Supplement with no health questions until March 4, 2027.

The right covers Plans A, B, D, G, K, L from any of the 23 carriers filing in Florida (Plans A, B, C, F, K, L if you were eligible for Medicare before 2020). In Hillsborough County, Plan G at 75 runs $236.97 to $356.87 a month; the county table below prices the places these plans were sold. Every Florida carrier prices by issue age: the age you buy at sets your rate band for good, and later increases come from claims and inflation, not birthdays.

Plan G Where Full Access Giveback Was Sold

Florida files Medigap in 36 rating areas, so a carrier's price moves with the county: the median Plan G at 65 runs from $230.61 in Marion County to $246.19 in Duval County. These are the lowest filed Plan G rates in 13 of the 56 counties the two plans covered, at the ages most members are.

The lowest rate at 70 and 75 can come from a different carrier than at 65. A few carriers file a separate guaranteed-issue rate class that this pull leaves out, so a guaranteed-issue quote can differ. Plan N at 65 starts at $148.43 statewide.

Every Humana Florida Plan ID on CMS's 2027 List

CMS's Service Area Reduction file names each plan ID not offered next year, and its plan crosswalk says whether members are moved into another plan. The two are read together here, because a renewed ID brings an Annual Notice of Change and no guaranteed-issue right. 6 Humana individual plan IDs end outright in Florida, 226,720 members in all.

Not Only Humana

UnitedHealthcare's largest Florida exit is AARP Medicare Advantage from UHC FL-0016 (H2406-008), 15,669 members in 18 counties, and 7 smaller UnitedHealthcare plan IDs end with it. AARP Medicare Advantage Patriot No Rx FL-MA2 (H2406-130), the plan sold to veterans who use VA pharmacies, continues but leaves 18 counties. The Dates

1. October 15, 2026 to December 7, 2026: the Part D plan, or a replacement Advantage plan, has to be chosen in this window for January 1.
2. November 1, 2026: by this date the Medigap window is open everywhere in Florida, 60 days before the plan ends. The letter opens it the day it arrives.
3. December 31, 2026: the Full Access Giveback plans pay their last claim, and the Part B giveback stops.
4. December 8, 2026 to February 28, 2027: a second chance at an Advantage plan, for anyone who missed December 7.
5. March 4, 2027: the last day a Florida carrier has to take you with no health questions.

Take no action and January 1 brings Original Medicare alone: the full Part B premium of $202.90 a month in 2026, the $283 Part B deductible, 20% of Part B costs with no cap, and no drug plan. A Medigap policy can still start February 1 or March 1 inside the window, but January is then on you.

Issue Age Changes the Math in Florida

All 23 Florida carriers in the CSG file price by issue age. The rate band you enter at 75 is the band you stay in; carriers raise it for claims and inflation, not for your next birthday. That makes the 75 column above more useful than the 65 column for most members leaving these plans, and it is why I quote the whole table rather than the one carrier that leads at 65.

Humana Insurance Company sells Florida Medigap as well: Plan G at 65 is $224.08 in Hillsborough County, with a 3% household discount for two policies at one address. Humana Medigap, reviewed. If you can pass health questions, every plan from every carrier is open, Plan N included. Send the underwritten application first and keep the guaranteed-issue window as the net: a decline inside it still leaves Plans A, B, D, G, K, L.
