Plan N follows, then the floors from 65 to 80, 15 key counties, the 18 filings in the 2026 records and a 28-state comparison. Each figure is a filed rate for a woman who doesn't use tobacco, buying alone. Read it as a map of the market. It is not your quote.

A filing changes the rate table for a carrier's whole Indiana block, not one person's bill. On an attained-age policy it lands on top of the birthday steps. A rate letter alone is no reason to switch; first check where the new premium ranks among the 27 lines in your county. If a cheaper Plan G sits below it, Indiana's birthday rule lets a Plan G policyholder 65 or older move to that carrier's Plan G from one month before to one month after their birthday, without medical underwriting. Every state's filings are on the 2026 rate-increase page.

Sorted by the cheapest Plan G at 65 in each state's flagship county. Same profile in every state.
Methodology
- Every rate is read at build time from the Indiana file of our CSG Actuarial licensed API pull, dated September 11, 2026. None is typed by hand.
- The profile never changes: a female applicant, non-tobacco, buying alone, with no household discount. Each carrier shows its lowest filed rate class.
- Marion County is quoted at ZIP 46239. Allen County is the board for the rating area with the most counties, 3 of them. Indiana files 85 rating areas for 92 counties.
- Key counties are quoted through one sample ZIP each. Porter County shared a sample ZIP with another key county in this pull, so the table shows that ZIP once.
- Direct-to-consumer and guaranteed-issue classes are dropped, and so is any row above four times the state median for its plan and age.
- Filing rows come from CSG Actuarial's records, December 2025 to September 2026, and only for carriers on the board. A "largest" filing is named only after a check for re-filed schedules.
- NAIC counts for December 2023 put 202,217 Indiana policies on Plan G, 119,959 on Plan F and 32,798 on Plan N. Plan F is closed to anyone new to Medicare since January 1, 2020, so it has no table here.
- Five carriers file a household discount (11% to 12.3%); the tables leave it out, and a couple is quoted both ways.
- The birthday rule is described from the Indiana Department of Insurance fact sheet on HEA 1226 (2025), in effect January 1, 2026, as amended by HEA 1260 (2026) for policies delivered, issued or renewed on or after March 15, 2026. Questions about the rule go to Indiana SHIP at 1-800-452-4800.

Indiana Medigap Rate Questions
Holding a 2026 rate letter from an Indiana carrier?
